Volumes 1 and 2. Original records were destroyed due to fire and floods. The public was encouraged to voluntarily come to court and record their families' birth records. Due to those circumstances the records are not complete. Note that these are Birth Records, not Birth Certificates. A Birth Record is a documentary account of past events, designed to memorialize those events. A Birth Certificate is a document in which basic facts regarding a person's birth are formally attested. Recorded birth dates are from October 8, 1863 to October 13, 1908. Use page number 0 (zero) to retrieve the index for each individual volume.
